She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Doug; her daughters, Lisa Townsend and Tracy Fusco (Paul); her stepchildren, Dustin, Courtney and Maggie; her grandchildren, Sam, Griffin, Noah, Kimberly, Ariane, Cyrus, Gabriella, Keegan and Anthony; her mother Dolores Dorfner; her siblings, Marilyn Edwards (Bill), Noreen Kohler (Mike) and Harold Zink (Leesah); her nieces, Shelby Zink (Ryan Pierson) and Marlana Zink; her extended family, Linda Larner, Kathy Obbie (Todd), Mike Dorfner (Carol) and Chris Dorfner (Holly); her father Harold Zink; and her stepfather Jim Dorfner.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Unitarian Church of Rochester (220 S Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14610).
In lieu of flowers the family invites donations to organizations close to Janet's heart: the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester (bccr.org) (http://bccr.org), Camp Good Days and Special Times, and the Advent House – the non-profit comfort care home where she and her family were graciously cared for during her last days.
