She was predeceased by : her parents, Duncan McIvor and Gertrude McIvor; her former life partner Gordon Schramm; her husband Earl Fairchild (Clarence); her grandson Nathan HerrGesell; her brother Colin McIvor; her stepchildren, Rita Ann Fairchild Gleave and Patrick Fairchild; her stepson-in-law Dennis Marra; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Fairchild Dunay and Ann Fairchild Beauchemin.

She is survived by : her daughters, Donna Clookey (David), Linda Garland (David), Diane O'Brien (Kevin), Julie Beach (Jerry), Katie HerrGesell (Leif) and Jeanne Fairchild (Tony Tringale); and her stepchildren, Daniel Fairchild (Barbara), Maureen Wolsiefer (Lou), Colleen Woodruff (Scott), Mary Marra, Jack Fairchild (Gail) and James Fairchild. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home (26 Maple Ave, Victor, NY 14564). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (115 Maple Ave, Victor, NY 14564).
