We announce the death of Joann LaFave (Rochester, New York), who passed away on September 10, 2026. Joann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Maier and Marcella Maier. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbi Keller (Tim), Christine Lopez (Daniel) and Jaclynn Dargout (Luc); her grandchildren, Stephen Keller (Dara Stern), William Keller (Leslie Pierrot), Victoria Keller (Matthew Ignatowski), Alyssa Brown (Derek), Karina, Christopher Lopez, Kacey, Domonique and Luc Dargout; her siblings, Kathleen Brown-Vasquez, Maryann DeSalvo-Beachner and Joseph Maier (Kathy); and her aunt Marilyn Hamman (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 S Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14623). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Spiritus Christi Church (121 Fitzhugh St N, Rochester, NY 14614).
