He was predeceased by: his parents, Madardus Polle and Alice Polle; and his siblings, Ray Polle, Anne Barnes and Cathy Allardice (James).

He is survived by: his wife Judy Veness-Polle; his children, Davida Graham (Don Gould), Tara Liddell (Ryan) and Eric Polle; his grandchildren, James Graham, Kaela Graham, Joseph Markajani, Erika Polle, AJ Polle, Duncan Liddell and Seasaidh Liddell; his brother-in-law Donald Barnes; his sisters, Judy Ferrigno (Ray), Barbara McIntyre (Steve), Mary Stomper (Jerome) and Patricia Polle; and his aunt Betty Nacy. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

“So sorry to hear of John's passing. We enjoyed many fun times with John at Barnard Crossing for many years. My condolences go out to Judy. I am thinking about you Judy and your family.
