He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances O'Hara Dougherty and John Dougherty; and his sister-in-law Mary Dougherty (Piscitello). He is survived by: his brother William V. Dougherty; and his sibling's children, Kate Nichols (Adam Nichols) and William V. Dougherty Jr..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Catholic Church (580 Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14610). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken (2025 Old Gulph Rd, Villanova, PA 19085).
