He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Laley and Howard Laley; his parents-in-law, Catherine Bacchetta and Louis Bacchetta; and his brother-in-law Thomas Bacchetta.
He is survived by: his wife Cherlyn; his sons, Christopher Laley and Eric Laley (Stephanie); his sister Mary Saunders; and his grandchildren, Kingston and Makayla Laley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
