As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Jenkins; and his brother Robert Jenkins Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Jenkins (Anthony Ussia) and Jenna Coluzzi (Jacob); his grandchildren, Dominic and Christian; his mother Rose Thomas Jenkins; his sisters, Theresa Oliveri and Donna DeLorme (Robert); the mother of his children Wilma Downs; and his aunt Maryann Borodij. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616).
