He was predeceased by: his parents, José Pérez and Regalada Pérez; and his siblings, Juan, José, Gilberto, Josefa, Lydia and Amelia.
He is survived by: his brother Lile; his wife Aracelis; and his children, Lymari, Jorge (Erica), Josué (Barbara), Luis, Marcos (Irma) and José (Crystian). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
