With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph A. Calcagno of Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmello Calcagno and Maria Calcagno; and his wife Rose Marie Calcagno (Dolly). He is survived by: his children, Karen (Tim Mechler), Janice (Wes Plant), Joe Calcagno (Lynn), John Calcagno (Laurie), Mary Joy Calcagno, Patrice Calcagno (Marcal Kowalski-Smith) and Adam Calcagno (Joell); his grandchildren, Timothy, Gary, Roland, Jeremiah, Brent, Sarah, Jonathan, Ashley, Ryan, Colton, Sydney, Samantha, Gabriel and Michaela; his great grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, Cadence, Ashlyn, Dylan, Gianna, Lorenza, Kober, Dean, Tanner, Baylee, Skylar and Zakai; his son Mark; his siblings, Santo, Carl (Carm), Frank (Alice), Christopher (Fran), Francesca, Frances (Joe Mondo), Connie and Rose Lorenzo (Tom); his mother-in-law Mary Sconfitto; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Sconfitto (Rose), Grace Barco (Sam) and Jerry Sconfitto (Sue).
