He was predeceased by: his parents, John Modrak and Anna Modrak; his significant other Lucy Modrak; his son Joe Louis Skelly; and his siblings, Tom Modrak and Mary Alice Cross.
He is survived by: his children, Annee Martin, John Skelly, Patricia Skelly, Elizabeth Skelly, Chris Skelly, Rita Brown, Joseph Modrak, Jr. (Geneva Modrak) and Judith Modrak (Mark Lobene); and his former wife Deborah Modrak.
