With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph M. Reynolds (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, I. V. Reynolds and Melvinia Reynolds; and his siblings, William Reynolds, Sarah Reynolds, Lovie Smyth and Ben Boga.
He is survived by: his children, Darin Simmons (Janice), Debby Reynolds, Tanya Reynolds and Tamar Reynolds; his siblings, John Reynolds (Betty), Alt Reynolds (Ruthie), Geraldine Coleman (George), Lynda Diggles (John), Ira Reynolds and Elizabeth Reynolds; his aunt Lydia Cathey; and his uncle Joe Beard. He is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Greece Road Church of Christ (1039 N Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
