He was predeceased by: his father Richard J.; his nephew James Pappano; and his brother-in-law Gregory Lane. He is survived by: his mother Marcia; his siblings, Stephen (Cathy), Suzanne Stillman-Hicks, Barbara Lane and Mary Pappano (John); his siblings' children, Kaitlyn Lane, Charles Hicks IV, Matthew, Andrew, Michael, Joseph Pappano and William Mihalitsis; and his close friend Gary Swanson.
