She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Mary, Samuel, Arthur, Charles, Louis and Alfred.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Spies (Gary); her grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) and Matthew; her great grandchild Cecelia Christine Spies; her daughter Marlo Fries (Mark); and her granddaughters, Ruth and Rebecca Fries. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
