He is survived by: his wife Martha Chaves; his children, Juan Carlos, Alvaro (Alena), Gustavo (Marci), Julio (Socorro), Anamaria Rahming (Derrick) and Margarita Clark (Joshua); and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Haley, Alexander, Sierra, Joshua and Adelina.
