Julio Rivera Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 82, Julio Rivera (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Rivera-Ortiz and Maria Lopez-Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Rivera; his children, Jorge, Harvey (Milagros), Jesus, Sonia, Alvin (Ann), Julio Jr. (Noma), Elizabeth (Eduardo), Marybelle (Resti), Michelle (Eric), Margarita (Felipe) and Jennifer (Ismael); and his brother Marcelino Lopez. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Church (859 N Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14605). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Julio's memory to the Aurora House, or to the Alzheimer's Association under Team Rivera.
