Kay I. Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay I. Thompson (Rochester, New York), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Kay may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Wilfred Thompson (Sonny). She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Maria), Leslie Aguglia (John) and Laura Spurgin (Tony). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
