He was predeceased by: his son Vahness Moore Buchanan; and his parents, Lloyd E. Buchanan and Vahness Moore Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, Eric Richard Lloyd Buchanan of Douglas, Massachusetts and Juliana Rae Buchanan of Douglas, Massachusetts; the mother of his children Kelley Buchanan of Douglas; his brother Curtis Hamilton Buchanan of Roswell, Georgia; and his nephew Justin Mekhi Buchanan. He is also survived by family at The River; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the River Church (164 Davis St, Douglas, MA 01516).
