He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Cardarelli and Lawrence; his sister Debbie Cardarelli; his stepson David DeMonte; his father-in-law Thomas Doerr; and his brother-in-law John Woerner.

He is survived by: his wife Michele; his sons, Zachary and Justin; his stepdaughter Marissa DeMonte; his siblings, Deneen Cardarelli and Mark (Elyse); his mother-in-law Rita Doerr; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie Woerner and Tom Doerr (Michele). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
