He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Mandel (Erwin); his parents, Lawrence A. Mandel and Marie A. Mandel (Sweeney); and his sisters, Mary S. Wilhauck (Thomas) and Nancy E. Mandel.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence J. (Diane), James (Ellen), Jeannine (Alan) and Gregory (Jill); his grandchildren, Christy (AJ), Melissa (Kathryn), Jesse (Laura), Louis (Hayley), Natalie (Dylan), Dallas and Shane (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Quintin, Cooper, Raelyn, Brooke, Finn, Sloane, Bodie, Emmett, James, Stevie, Arthur, Reese and Peyton; his sister-in-law Julie Erwin; and his caregivers, Gary, Chris, Marie, Peggy, Renee, Laura, Adrianna and Riley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
