She was predeceased by : her parents, Hyman Mandell and Frieda Mandell; and her sister Joan M. Wheeler. She is survived by : her children, Lesli Sloan Sopher, Heidi Sloan Nelson, David Scott Sloan and Amy Sloan Nichols; her children-in-law, Scott Sopher, Jon Nichols and Katherine Sloan; her grandchildren, Jessica Sopher Gibofsky (Lewis), Sara Sopher, Greg Nelson, Tyler Sloan, Melissa Sopher, Rachel Nelson, Caroline Sloan and Meredith Sloan; her great grandchild Reid Gibofsky; her sister Rita Lazerson; and her niece Patti Lazerson Kehoe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral will be held on Sunday, February 21st at 1:00 PM.
