He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Colon and Juanita Tellado Colon; and his sister Violeta Colon. He is survived by: his wife Norma Santiago Colon; and his children, Freddy, Luis (Jasmine), Jose (Anna), Betty and Marisol Hardaway (Fred).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14608).
