He was predeceased by : his mother Ruth Ann Strong (Hort); his wife Cathy Strong; his father Robert F. Strong; his grandson Ryan S. Strong; and his son-in-law Roy John Alford.
He is survived by : his children, Heather L. Strong (Dan Springer), Colleen A. Cole (Chris), Stephanie R. Durow (Donald), Katrina Keefe (James), Shawn Strong (Collete Follett), Darrell Strong (Mary Jo), Robert T. Strong (Rheesa Rood), Scott Strong (Sandy Blaker), Timothy Strong Eric (Deanna Senay) and Justin Beyea; his siblings, Lucinda Meeks Strong, Susan Strong, Ruth Kutil, Robert A. Strong and Carl Ellison; and his close friend Florence Greene.
