He was predeceased by: his father Kyaka Charles Makungu. He is survived by: his mother Christine Mulapi; his wife Bernadette Kasinge Mango; his daughters, Jacqueline and Charlotte Mango; and his siblings, Marko, Maggie, Joseph, Charles and Marie Makungu.
