In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeCaires and Maria DeCaires; and her husband Fernando. She is survived by: her children, Maria Helan Camacho and Fernando Camacho (Orlanda); her grandchildren, Zachary and Stephanie; and her siblings, Luisa DeFreitas and Tony DeCaires (Maria). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
