Marie C. Strassner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie C. Strassner (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie C. Strassner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Strassner; and her parents, Frank Maira and Josephine Maira. She is survived by: her sons, William J. Strassner (Vicki) and Robert Strassner (Salina); her grandchildren, William C. Strassner (Paige), Stephanie Strassner, Zachary Strassner (Karlie), Rochelle Strassner and Cassidy Strassner; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Juliet, Noel and Charlotte; and her brother Arthur Maira (Phil Shippers). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theodore Church (168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14608).
