We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, Martha Ellen (DeWolf Hodge) Rockoff (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Martha farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Martha is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Rockoff; her daughters, Ellen Edgcomb (Marshall) and Sue Zimmer (Tyler); her siblings, Carol DeWolf (Barry) and Charlie DeWolf; and her niece Ella. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James R. Gray Funeral Home (1530 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624).
