She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence F. Helfer. She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn M. Michels (David J.), Janice L. Stephany (Richard), Lawrence R. Helfer (Regina), Paul D. Helfer (Paige) and Kenneth F. Helfer (Leigh Anne); and her grandchildren, David L. Michels (Laurel), Kent Michels (Christin), Christine J. McClain (Michael), Kristopher Helfer (Crystal), Julie McKinney (Scott), Lindsay Short (John), Shannon Griswold (Michael), Paul E. Helfer (Ashley), Chad L. Helfer (Michelle), Angus Salibury and Lorraine Salisbury. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St Jude's Children Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
