He is survived by: his children, Barbara Brokaw (Arland) and Michael Barnes (Keegan Lynch); his grandchildren, Stephen Johnston (Willow), Matthew Leonard, Jared Brokaw and Tav Brokaw; and his siblings, Jeffrey Barnes, Christopher Barnes (Linda) and Jennifer Pack. He is also survived by 6 beautiful nieces.
