He was predeceased by: his son Michael G. Gunkel Sr. Long. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Ruby and LeAnn Gunkel; his sister Janevra Shelton; his daughters, Deborah Rowe and Estela Comas; and the mother of his children Heather Gunkel. He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
