He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Ortiz and Amanda Ortiz; and his brother Robert Ortiz. He is survived by: his daughter Tamara Myers (Brian); his siblings, Johnny Ortiz (Kendra), Marcellena Wade (Eddie), Cynthia Ortiz-Murray (Jamie), James Ortiz (Tammy) and Patricia Schaffer (Bernie); and his close friend Mike Kenny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
