He is survived by: his wife Sandra Simmons; his son Nuri Simmons; his grandchildren, Romel Simmons, Nuri Simmons Jr., Shawnee Liberty Simmons and Allami Simmons; his sisters, Anita R. Little (late Howard) of Rochester, Burnetta J. McCullough of Rochester, Beverley E. Simmons of Rochester and Deborah Washington (Jackson) of Rochester; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Murdock of Canada and Maura Stuart of London; and his brother John J. Simmons Sr. (late Paula) of North Carolina. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, friends, co-workers and Kingdom Hall's brothers, and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home (1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY 14580). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
