He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Crate. He is survived by: his son Steven J. Crate; and his friends, Sally and Jerry Bropst.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
