He was predeceased by: his former wife Yolanda A. Cioppa; his parents, Antonio Cioppa and Josephine Cioppa; and his brothers, Frank (Betty) and Joseph Cioppa.

He is survived by: his wife Frances DiLaura-Cioppa; his children, Ann Streiff (Michael), Karen Gell (Gary), Maureen Cioppa and Stephen Cioppa; his grandchildren, Aaron (Grace), Michelle (Todd), Rachel, Gary (Stacie), Patrick (Sammantha), Brianna (Domenic), Justin (Danielle), Matthew (Amanda) and Brooke; his sister-in-law Phyllis Cioppa; his stepchildren, Cynthia Paladino (Rick), Patrick DiLaura (Roxanne) and Frances; Lindsey, Ryan (Katherine), Elyse and Jenna. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
