It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor Joachim Heinz Weber in Rochester, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Professor is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Professor's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Klenk-Weber and Heinz Glaubitz. He is survived by: his wife Ina Urbatsch; his children, Daniel and Vanessa; and his sisters, Ulli and Katrin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UMC Cancer Center, where he received compassionate multidisciplinary care.
