He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Buchanan and Marie Buchanan; his former wife Judy Buchanan; his children, Tracy Leyendecker, Mark Buchanan (Kirsten), Beth Delforte-Buchanan and Anne Buchanan (Sal Portugal); his grandchildren, Carly Buchanan (Dan Lavoie), Natalie Buchanan, Gunnar Leyendecker, James Delforte and Lucas Delforte; his wife Sandy Buchanan; his sister-in-law Jean Poweska (Stephen); and his nieces, Sarah Poweska and Polly Williams.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Keenan's Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (63 Mason Rd, Fairport, NY 14450).
In honor of Ray, memorial donations may be made to The Advent House in Fairport.
