He was predeceased by: his daughter Paula; his grandchildren, Kimberly and Shawn; and his sisters, Agnes Lebanski and Irene Sousa.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hettel Parsons; and his children, Laurene Cowd (Gary), Raymond Parsons (Marcia), Alan Parsons (Cindy), Karla LaBarbera (Victor) and Paul Parsons (Beth). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
