He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Briggs and Rita Briggs; and his brother John Christopher Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his sons, Scott and Richard M. Briggs; his granddaughters, Alanna Cenzi and Lillian Briggs; his sister Lynn Condello (Daniel); and his siblings-in-law, Marty Sauerhafer (Kim) and Lee Cox (Michael). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
