He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McGlynn and Margaret McGlynn; and his siblings, Albert McGlynn (Geraldine), Shirley Cashion (William), John (Ivy) and Patrick (Mary).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGlynn of Rochester, NY; his siblings, Nancy Weber (Cyrus), Kathleen Rohring (James) and Leonard (Laurie Ammering); his sister-in-law Patricia Hatch; his children, Anne Hossenlopp (Joseph) of Rochester, NY, Brian McGlynn (Kendall) of Queenstown, Ellen McGlynn (David Eckler) of Melrose, MA, Robert McGlynn (Meridith) of Greenwich, CT and Kevin McGlynn (Kristin) of Portland, ME; his grandchildren, Katrina, Andrew and Jessica Hossenlopp; and his children, Eoin, Marin, Isla McGlynn, Liam, Maura Eckler, Everett McGlynn and Seamus McGlynn. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
