He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Samson; his parents, Nicholas Samson and Ann Perchik Samson; and his stepdaughter Michele Hernandez. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Turner Price; his sons, Nicholas Samson (Donna) and Richard Samson; his grandchildren, William Samson, Nicholas Samson (Ariel), Ross Samson and Jessica Sells (Allen); his stepchildren, Jolie Hernandez, Lynn Hernandez (Patty) and Laurie Arata (Luis); his stepgrandson Christopher Hernandez (Ekaterina); his niece Cathy Turner; his nephew David Turner; his cousins, Paul Zaretsky and Patricia Anusziewicz; and his friend Marian Corey.
