We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 97, Richard I. Vanderlaan (Rochester, New York) passed away. He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis G. Vanderlaan; his parents, Jacob Vanderlaan and Ruth Vanderlaan; and his brother Stanley Vanderlaan (Katherine). He is survived by: his children, Rick Vanderlaan, Gary Vanderlaan (Michele), Cindy Hayes-Low and Marlene Sheetz (Jake); and his grandchildren, Shannon, Derek, Lynsay, Morgan and MacKenzie Greene (Andy). He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery.
