He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara A Buckert (Ott); his brother Bernard G "Bud" Buckert; and his parents, Gerald C Buckert and Dorothy M Buckert (Stenglein). He is survived by: his children, Gerald Buckert (Kathy), Bonnie Creeden, Karen Parker (Chuck) and David Buckert (Debbie). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
