He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Cardot and Mary Cardot; his in-laws, Clyde and Janeth Baker; and his siblings, Myrtle Hutchinson, Homer Cardot, Shirley Randtke, John Cardot, Mary Lou Adkins and Margaret Otto.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Cardot; his sister Nancy Nellis; his sister-in-law Carol Hanley (Tom); his children, Timothy Cardot (Sue), Amy Jones (Bobby), John Schloop-Cardot (Connor), Kimberly Swinter (Steve) and Rick Cardot (Carrie); his grandchildren, Katrina Mankin, Andy Mankin (Rachel), Derek Mankin (Mary), Colin Mankin, Matthew Cardot, Jeffrey Cardot, Savannah Swinter, Haley Cardot, Olivia Cardot and Chloe Cardot; and his great grandchildren, Aidan Mankin, Alex Mankin, Amelia Mankin, Clara Mankin and Nora Mankin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
