He was predeceased by: his father Robert E. Whitney Sr.; and his brother Alan Whitney. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Whitney; and his sisters, Joyce Galatio (Joseph), Sharon Whitney, Cathy Whitney and Dawn Murrin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & cousins.
