He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Shannon. He is survived by: his children, Robert Shannon (Mary) and Sharon Bennett (Rustin); and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Christopher, Elizabeth, Peter, Heather and Sean. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
