Robert Bruce Smith Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Bruce Smith in Rochester, New York, born in Batavia, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 73. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Smith and Robert E. Smith; and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Smith, Robert Smith (Ciara) and Aaron Smith; his granddaughter Ellie Smith; and his sister Alice Smith.
