He was predeceased by: his father Robert Stanley Sr.; and his aunt Helen. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mackenzie, Andrew (Taylor), Valen and Gwen; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Kathie and Andrew Jr.; his mother Hyong K. Stanley; his brother Dr. Tae-Wol Stanley (Jeffrey W. Ralph); and his pets, River, Sarge, Cats, Snickers and Fifty (Lu).
