He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Ferrara and Josephine Ferrara; his son Robert Ferrara Jr.; and his brothers, Richard, Ronald and William Ferrara.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Ferrara-Lambert and Richard Ferrara; and his brother Charles (Susan). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
