It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Celli (Rochester, New York), who passed away on February 3, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Celli to pay them a last tribute.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Celli and Carol Celli; and his brothers, Fred Jr. and Michael. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert (Debbie) and Carla (Doug); and his siblings' children, Olivia and Michael Spinder.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).

Please also consider donations to the Wilmot Cancer Center, where he received care, the American Red Cross, to which he was a dedicated donor, or to the MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes) Foundation.

“My deepest sympathies to the Celli Family. I will always remember the endless games of Whiffle Ball that Ron and Mike played with Dan and me in the backyard of our house at 192 Rogers Parkway around 1962-1964. Ron was the first to hit a homer over the fence and was my hero. And I will never forget the foxhole we dug in the backyard which was deeper than our heights, as we were digging a hole to find China....and in which Ron and Mike dragged some excess roofing material from their father's business to cover the hole.”
