He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ellsworth and Amy Ellsworth; and his siblings, Richard Ellsworth and Amy Aline. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ellsworth; his children, Kirk Ellsworth (Michele) and Christine Leclerc (Norm); his grandchildren, Caitlin Warren (Tyler), Jacob Ellsworth (Jasmyne Ponder) and Emily Leclerc (Peter Fisher); his great grandchild Jaxson Warren; and his sisters, Sue Trembley (Jack) and Karen Bogusz (Gary). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Chapels (4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
