With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rosa (Placido) Verde (Rochester, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Luigi Verde; her son-in-law Russell Erickson; and her parents, Matteo Placido and Gelsomina Placido. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Erickson, Michael Verde (Cheryl), Gelsomina Martusciello (Angelo) and Lilliana Rotoli (Salvatore); her grandchildren, Erisha Erickson, Louis Verde (Kara), Rosanna Hogle, Giorgio Martusciello (Baret), Matteo Martusciello, Anthony Martusciello (Brianna), Giorgio Rotoli (Stephanie) and Salvatore Rotoli (Emina); her great grandchildren, Anthony, Katherine Verde, Nadia, Valentina, Hugh Hogle, Victoria, Giorgio Jr., Giavanna Martusciello, Ryan Martusciello, Cristiano, Ariella Martusciello, Isabella and Luca Rotoli; and her sister Maria Esposito of Italy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
